Današnja nedjelja, nedjelja muke Isusove započela je procesijom ispred crkve sv. Ivana Krstitelja u Kralejvoj Sutjesci, blagoslovom maslinovih, palminih i jelovih grana, što je u biti sjećanje
na Isusov slavni ulazak u Jeruzalem, kada je narod pozdravljao Isusa i klicao mu ”Hosana Sinu Davidovu”.
Snaga blagoslovljenih grančica dolazi od blagoslovne molitve, ali i samog donošenja u crkvu kao sveto mjesto. Vjernici
ih nose u kuće, njive, štale, groblja, gospodarske objekte….kao zaštitu koju pruža blagoslovljeni predmet – grančica.
Procesija je završila ulaskom u crkvu, a onda je slijedilo pjevanje muke Isusove.
Liturgijskim sadržajem, Cvjetnica izražava bit Uskrsne tajne, tj. da kroz muku smrt i poniženje Isus dolazi u slavu Uskrsnuća.
